 Un voyage à vélo dans un pays: "a BICYCLE RIDE (ou BIKE RIDE, ou BICYCLE TOUR) across a country (across England, Wales, Ireland...)

Moyen de transport: a means of transportation

Faire un voyage à vélo: to complete a bicycle tour

Energie verte: green energy

Energie renouvelable: renewable energy

Développement durable: durable development

En route pour l'Irlande: on our way to Ireland

Quelle est la route de (telle ville): What is the way to (London, Dublin...)?

Aller en Irlande A VELO: go to Ireland BY BIKE

Se diriger vers une ville: to head to a city

Continuer sur la même route: go on on this road, go on on the same road

Est-on autorisé à: are we allowed to (+ verbe)? ex: allowed to camp here, allowed to drive on the right side of the road :-), etc.

Puis-je téléphoner? May I give a phone call? (formule polie)

You can use the cell phone if you need: vous pouvez utiliser le téléphone portable si vous avez besoin

Could you please call a doctor? Pouvez-vous appeler un médecin?

Avoir mal au dos: to have a backache (prononcez "ba-cake", comme le gâteau...)

Je sens une douleur ici: I feel a pain here

Saignement: bleeding

J'ai une ampoule au pied: I have a blister on my foot.

Je suis mort de fatigue: "I'm dead-tired", "I'm burnt-out"

C'est fatigant: That's tiring

C'est crevant: That's exhausting!

Je vais bien: I am fine

Je me sens super bien! =  I feel good!!

C'est super! That's exciting! That's great! That's cool!

C'est marrant, chouette: That's fun!

C'est intéressant: That's interesting

C'est stimulant: That is stimulating
